The Good Old Stuff. Haggard writes in the company of Robert E. Howard. This is Golden Age pulp sword and sorcery stuff, and if you like Conan, you'll probably like Haggard's stories too.

I took a chance on this book and I am glad I did. Once I got accustomed to the late 19th century writing style, I found myself totally entranced by this story of courage and sacrifice.
This was a fun read. Obviously, the price was right (free), but even if I had paid for it, it would still have been a fun read. Typical Quartermain story. Enjoyed.
Find out what a real missionary would be like! Love this story.
This was written many years ago by a good author and set in Germany in medieval times. It's one fault is too modern a hero for the time.
